Book Description

Kate Douglas Wiggin’s Susanna and Sue tells the story of two very different yet deeply bonded young girls, Susanna and Sue. Living in a small New England town, the two friends experience the ups and downs of growing up, facing challenges in their personal lives, relationships, and their understanding of the world around them. While Susanna is practical and serious, Sue is imaginative and full of whimsy. Together, they learn valuable lessons about friendship, self-discovery, and the power of embracing each other’s differences. Wiggin’s tale is filled with humor, warmth, and the joys of childhood.
