Persepolis Rising is the seventh novel in The Expanse series, set decades after humanity has spread through the ring gates to thousands of new worlds. As familiar characters confront aging, legacy, and resistance, the novel explores empire, control, and the price of enforced peace on a galactic scale.

About Author

James S. A. Corey is the pen name used by American writers Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck, best known for co-authoring The Expanse series. The duo combined Abraham’s experience as a fantasy and science-fiction novelist with Franck’s background in writing, television production, and world-building.

The partnership began when Franck developed the universe of The Expanse as a role-playing game setting, which evolved into a novel series starting with Leviathan Wakes (2011). The books are celebrated for their realistic physics, complex political systems, and character-driven storytelling, blending hard science fiction with space opera.

The success of the novels led to a widely acclaimed television adaptation, further cementing James S. A. Corey as one of the most influential voices in modern Science Fiction.
