Book Description |
| On the Kentucky Frontier follows young Nehemiah “Neh” Baldwin as he grows up amid the dangers and raw beauty of the early American frontier. Living in a small settlement beyond the Alleghenies, Neh faces hostile wilderness, tense encounters, and the daily struggle for survival that shaped the lives of pioneer families. When threats arise — both from nature and from human conflict — Neh and his companions must rely on courage, loyalty, and hard-earned frontier skill. With vivid detail and strong moral grounding, James Otis brings to life the hardships, adventures, and indomitable spirit of those who settled Kentucky in the nation’s earliest days. |
