Book Description |
| Mr. Stubbs’s Brother continues the adventures begun in Toby Tyler, following Toby’s life after his return from the circus. When a new monkey — the supposed “brother” of the beloved Mr. Stubbs — appears in town, Toby finds himself drawn back into a whirlwind of mischief, responsibility, and unexpected challenges. As he struggles to care for the troublesome creature, Toby learns important lessons about loyalty, honesty, and the consequences of good intentions gone awry. James Otis blends humor, warmth, and lively adventure in this heart-touching sequel that celebrates both the trials and joys of growing up. |
