Book Description

Love in Colour is a vibrant collection of romantic short stories that reimagines myths, legends, and folklore from around the world through a modern, inclusive lens. From West African mythology to Greek and Middle Eastern tales, Bolu Babalola retells classic stories with an emphasis on love, joy, agency, and emotional depth—centering Black women, queer love, and empowered heroines. Lyrical, hopeful, and celebratory, the collection explores what love looks like when it is allowed to be bold, tender, and unapologetic.
