Book Description

Stay With Me is a powerful debut novel that tells the story of Yejide and Akin, a Nigerian couple whose marriage is strained by infertility, secrecy, and the weight of family expectations. Set against the backdrop of political instability in 1980s and 1990s Nigeria, the novel unfolds through shifting perspectives, revealing how love can be reshaped—and damaged—by silence, loss, and betrayal. Tender yet devastating, it is a deeply emotional exploration of marriage, motherhood, and the stories we tell to survive.
